Alex,

to be more specific, you can already fork Jersey on Github, and develop fixes for open issues _inside_ your fork (one branch per issue). Then simply open a PR gainst jersey/jersey/master. While chances are low to get it committed within the next days or weeks, the work is not lost but simply "on stack" for review and commit, once Jersey is finally migrated. So you _can_ start to contribute right now, just the PR will need some time.

I am sorry, but I won’t be able to add you as an initial committer in this case. Initial committers are people who *already committed* to this project.

But it doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to participate. There is a standard and open Eclipse Foundation process to follow described here: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Development_Resources/Becoming_a_Committer

excuse me, Dmitry, I havent been committing to the jersey project, yet.

For the time being, I will just stay on track and maybe come back to it later again.

Dear Mark, Dear Dmitry,

in order to have more time to contribute to EE4J Projects, I have made some arrangements with my current project.

So, I hope that I will have more resources this time. Could you please kindly help, to register me as an initial committer at the jersey project.

(My signed ECA is on the way)

Best Regards,

Alex

Excellent. Many thanks. That is very helpful.

I can't find any mention of that link on the Servlet EG mailing list.
I'll post it now.
