[stellation-res] Changes to Stellation CM for new reorg
|
I've just pulled down the new versions of stellation.cli, stellation.core etc
and built them on my Windows machine (for now, I'm not updating my
Linux machine or workspace).
Everything built fine under Eclipse, although I had to fix a number of imports
in ...stellation.scm.model (no big surprise).
This is just a build test; I can't (yet) run Stellation on Windows, so cannot
run a basic smoke test either. However, it seems likely that the modified
scm.model client will run (assuming the cli / core refactoring works as well).
There are several choices now:
a) Check nothing in, for now.
b) Check in my import changes, as-is, for others to test, and continue to work
on the new client core until the refactored cli / core code has been tested
more thoroughly. (Purpose: mostly to support clean builds of the full system
by others),
c) Check in my changes, rebuild on Linux, test/fix as needed, then continue
with client core work.
I'm leaning towards (a) or (c), with slight concerns about destabilizing
the the local
codebase I'm using for developing client core.
Comments ? Who else, if anyone, is affected by this decision ?
