Re: [mosquitto-dev] mosquitto.org web site

Doug,

I don't think you are unique. Last week at a trade show, I was speaking with a company that was using Mosquitto in their solution but didn't realize it was an Eclipse project. I'd like to work to remove this confusion.

A quick outsider's perspective relating to Ian's point #4 below... I had been using Mosquitto for several months before I happened to be browsing Eclipse IoT and ran across a Mosquitto project there. I was very confused and didn't know if Mosquitto was a project that was joining Eclipse or a project that had left Eclipse, or if these were unrelated projects of the same name. It wasn't until the website discussion began here (another 6 months into my use of Mosquitto) that I understood what the situation was.

4. Regardless of the url, the current mosquitto.org site does not make reference to being an Eclipse project. It doesn't link to the terms of use, privacy policy, etc. I'd like to see this changed. We can also help with making these changes. :-)
