The sponsor files are not more than 500k total.

Ganymede M5
So, what's the current status regarding priority 3 (the packages)
on the stick. For me it seems like with the new Modeling package, there will be
no point in providing more than 1 Platform (Windows) of the 5 packages only (C,
Java, JEE, RCP, Modeling) [2].
This would add up to
690MB based on the 20080217 epp build [3]
the biggest contributors being Modeling (227MB) and RCP (164MB).
What to do with the rest of the size? I'd love seing that decision
be made
by the Community of all Projects and not just the EMO, if possible.
So can
we collect the data:
- (1) Size of Presentations - due today - should be known
tomorrow
Though I think some space should be left for "Update the Stick
at the
Conference" stations - I hope that such stations will be available
again?
- (2) Size of Stick Sponsor files - Bjorn how much will that be?
- (3) Size of Packages - 690MB, see above
Size of Ganymede:
820MB Ganymede/staging today (JARs only,
no pack.gz, but there seem to be lots of
obsolete files from previous releases, e.g. there is 7 different versions of
the
buckminster.core plugin).
505MB After "mirror update site"
(JARs only, no obsolete files)
647MB .jar and .pack.gz (note: Ganymede M4
was 665MB, so is something missing??)
--------------
142 MB Ganymede M5 (.pack.gz only)
So that's probably less than most people might have thought...
Find attached a "Mirror Ganymede" script that can be used
to re-compute sizes if necessary.

we would include at least the Win32 packages.

Thomas,
What's the final word on what is included on the memory
stick? Will the Ganymede Update Site be included?
I still don't know - it depends on how much space other
things take up. My current guess is "no". First priority for space is
the presentations. Second are the files from the memory stick sponsor. Third
are the packages (if they get built in time). Fourth is the whole update site.
If not, how can I make sure that our project is included in
one of the EPP packages?
That question is independent of whether the Ganymede Update
Site gets onto the EclipseCon memory stick, ja?
