Specification Projects Creation

Help projects to create scope statements and names. Close issue when project is satisfied. Get them from todo and in progress to the “Ready for review” column. Discussed the projects that are both impl and spec projects.

JAF, JSF and JavaMail

  • Convert existing project into specification project

  • Create new project for implementation projects

    • Name: Eclipse GlassFish Mail and Eclipse GlassFish Activation

    • Scope: Implement the spec

    • Committers: same as spec project

    • Inform the project team: use github

    • Could these two be moved to the GlassFish project (as separate repositories)?

  • Create new spec project for JSF

    • Name: Jakarta Server Faces

    • Scope: <tbd>

    • Committers: Same as Mojarra

Ask Dmitry to explain javax.rmi in the ORB project.

Javax Namespace Issue

We should create a list for each project what dependencies it has. Reach out to the projects and ask them to do this. Continue this discussion next week.
