Hi,

In the new approach (the one with those branches), the vmsync events are not required anymore. The only documentation on this experimental approach that is meant to replace the original vmsync one is in the presentation I linked to earlier in this thread [1]. It's all the kvm_* events and statedump events in lttng-ust, you don't have any extra modules to install.

sudo modprobe lttng_vmsync_host
sudo modprobe lttng_vmsync_guest
