Re: [soa-users] Installing SCA plugin

yes, I am pretty new to plugin. =)
I tried the install the plugins you mentioned. I found the release site under eclipse itself for EMF and GMF. but I didn't find any release site for WST and WTP. is that part of eclipse? but, I still had the problem to install them, like missing requirement.
I wonder if it is required to install a specific version.

For example, 

For EMF SDK, 2.5.0 is the latest release. But there is 2.6.x for stable version under development site.
would 2.5.0 be enough? or should I install whatever latest stable version?
And, I don't need any other plugins like EMF VALIDATION SDK or TRANSACTION SDK?

For GMF, I tried to install 2.2.2.
However, it had error, like missing requirement, dependency conflict.
I attached error log in this email. so,I guess, I installed wrong version?

For WST / WTP XML Editors
I couldn't find release site, but found this url
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/drops/R3.2.4/R-3.2.4-20110511033327/
so, I can install whatever latest in this site?

You are new to plugin development, it's OK. ;)
You are right about the class path errors. Some plugins are not installed in your Eclipse.

From your screenshot, you should install the following plugins using the update manager:
  • org.eclipse.emf.edit.ui (EMF SDK)
  • ...gmf.diagram... (GMF SDK)
  • ...wst... (WST / WTP XML Editors)

That should fix most of your issues, if not all.
