|Re: [orion-dev] User experiences ...|
- how we gather input when performing a command that requires input. Today we have command, then slideout, then more dialog. We've had some good discussions already about having better presentations/workflow. It'd be good to gather screenshots of things we like. (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=366421)
- scope and gesture for navigator selections. When are you working with the "current folder" as depicted by the breadcrumb and when are you working with the folders selected within. (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=390028). I would lump the other issue mentioned by Libing (selecting vs. opening) in with this one.
- branch management in git. This doesn't seem to bug anyone else, so maybe it's a lack of understanding or impatience on my part. I still find it cumbersome to work in a topic branch, rebase periodically, etc. It's possible that if the actions were simply faster I would be happy. It'd be very useful for me to have a discussion of how different committers are dealing with this workflow.
