Re: [jakartaee-platform-dev] How do I contribute to Jakarta EE as an individual committer?

Hi,
Besides this platform dev mailing list, I would also suggest that you subscribe to the jakarta ee community mailing list:
https://accounts.eclipse.org/mailing-list/jakarta.ee-community

There are other public mailing lists as well.  For example, if you are interested in jax-rs, there is a separate dev mailing list for that feature:
https://accounts.eclipse.org/mailing-list/jaxrs-dev

Each feature component of Jakarta EE should have its own mailing list.  And, in most cases, there are separate Specification projects and Implementation projects.  So, depending on your interest, you can follow one or both.  Again, using jax-rs as an example:
Specification:  https://accounts.eclipse.org/mailing-list/jaxrs-dev
Implementation:  https://accounts.eclipse.org/mailing-list/jersey-dev

Lots of possibilities to participate depending on your interest!

If I may suggest so, please follow the Java EE Guardians Twitter account. Now that things can finally move forward the group will begin grassroots coordinating Jakarta EE community work sooner or later (hopefully in conjunction with or led by vendors interested in seeing Jakarta EE move forward as well).

Rest assured folks like yourself are very much needed and valued.

Hello All,

Just like Bharath, I am a Java EE/Jakarta EE developer but with lesser years of experience. I would also like to contribute to the development of Jakarta EE.

Please let us know how we can contribute to the development of Jakarta EE in anyway possible.

Sincerely,
Omos
