Nominations for the 2015 Eclipse Foundation Board[1] election[2]
open today for two Committer and two Sustaining Member
representatives. To nominate someone, simply send an email to
elections@xxxxxxxxxxx.
The number of seats available are based on the number of strategic
members as of December 31, 2013. Therefore, there will be two
elected Committer representatives and two elected Sustaining
Member representatives on next year's board. The terms of office
are from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016.
Key Dates:
- January 5, 2015: Nominations open. To nominate someone,
simply send an email to elections@xxxxxxxxxxx.
- January 23, 2015: Nominations close
- January 30, 2015: Deadline for nominees to return their
content to elections@xxxxxxxxxxx
- February 3, 2015: List of nominees published on
www.eclipse.org
- February 4, 2015: Individual pages ready for candidate
review
- February 6, 2015: Nominees' personal pages made available on
www.eclipse.org
- February 9, 2015: Voting begins
- February 27, 2015: Voting ends at 3pm Eastern time
- March 9, 2015: New representatives announced at the
Membership Meeting at EclipseCon
These positions are important! I can assure you that the elected
directors on the Eclipse Board are a real asset to the governance
of our community.
