So if the IDS is configured correctly you should be able to enter the
URL into the WFS wizard page and connect. Let me know how it goes.

IDS is similar to DB2 so it would be fairly easy to modify the DB2
datastore to support IDS but unfortunately we (IBM) don't have the
resources to do this right now.

Justin Deolivera has recently done a bunch of work in Geotools to
make implementing JDBC based datastore much easier. You will
probablz need to ask the Geotools-devel list for help on locating
