Re: [toolchain-modernization-strategy] Meeting tomorrow

Dear all,

Thank you all for the constructive discussion in the meeting. I suggest we close the mailing list thread at this point and keep the focus on the actual decisions and next steps.

The concern about recruiting experienced RCP developers was raised during multiple interest group discussions by several companies with long-standing applications. Different perspectives are valuable, and the real, strategic challenges raised by group members deserve to be heard. I believe everybody welcomes concrete, constructive advice on addressing these challenges to keep our exchanges solution-oriented and ensure this public mailing list remains a useful resource for everyone following along.

Best regards,
Jonas

Hi,

I don't think I can express all your requests well in an E-Mail. I'll
try to be on one of the next calls. However, as it looks like I'm the
only one who is concerned and as the Fear Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD)
communication level went down in the meeting minutes of the last
meeting, I just will sit back grab some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Nonetheless I strongly disagree with the message that it is hard to get
RCP developers. I mostly work with students and within days they are
able to implement something and within weeks they are productive.

Cheers,
Alois
