Re: [sumo-user] Waiting lane.

This zig zagging of vehicles are causing gaps in the queue which in turn results in weird queue formations. Is there a way I can avoid that?

In sublane mode all the vehicles don't look like they are waiting in line straight. It's all zig zagged. Is that expected?

Setting any value for lateral resolution switches to the sublane model which behaves diffrently from the default model.

If by default lateral resolution is 3.2 why is the simulation completely different when explicitly define it as 3.2 in the configuration file?

How can I generate a random seed in GUI?

The randomness in sumo is deterministic (if you do not set the seed parameter it behaves the same way every time).
The stuck problem just occurs so seldomly that it doesn't affect all approaches all the time.
To fix the 'stuck' problem, download the updated development version tomorrow at https://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Downloads#SUMO_-_Latest_Development_Version

But if everytime I simulate it's the same approach having the problem. If it was in random manor should it change. And what can I do which could help me with vehicles getting stuck problem?

But if it was a problem with sublane simulation for left-hand networks, (what I understood is correct) shouldn't it affect all the approaches in the same way.
The issue was causing vehicles to become stuck at a green light in a somewhat random fashion (not often enough to even out for all approaches).

But I am using all kinds of vehicle types. Here i was just using cars to form an ideal situation. What's a better resolution if there is around 60 to 70 percent of 2 wheelers and a mix of others too including big vehicles like buses.

I would use a value that is slightly larger than your  two-wheelers and that divides the lane width (0.64 or 0.8 depending on your two-wheeler width)
