Hello everyone,
My name is Kartikey Tripathi, and I am a computer engineering student from India. I recently joined the soc-dev mailing list because I am very interested in participating in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2026 with the Eclipse community.
I have experience in programming and software development, and I am currently improving my skills in Java and open-source development. I am eager to start contributing to Eclipse projects and learn from the community.
Since I am preparing for GSoC 2026, I would really appreciate it if someone could suggest a few beginner-friendly Eclipse projects where a new contributor can start making small contributions and gradually get involved with the project.
If there are any recommended steps for new contributors (such as issues to start with, documentation to read, or communication channels to join), I would be very grateful for your guidance.
