Unfortunately EclipseWorld appears to have more of an IT focus and
I'm not sure CDT people head there, maybe I'm wrong. Ideally I'd like to see
more of an Eclipse presence at conferences like the Embedded Systems Conference
No, I love EclipseCon the way it is, but with the ISV focus in
mind, I would tweak the C/C++ category to better reflect that.

And what size do you (Goldilocks) find to
be just right, out of curiosity? Are we there yet?
I also prefer the current focus, as EclipseWorld has more of a end user focus.
Both are good, imo. Too bad they’re held each year on opposing
coasts <insert bad RAP war joke here/>.

My desire has always been to grow EclipseCon to be the Goldilocks of
conferences: not too big, not too small, but just right J
Things we still need to work on:
- User focus versus ISV focus. The traditional debate in Eclipse carries on
into EclipseCon. I ran into very few CDT users but a ton of ISVs leveraging
CDT. Good/Bad? Not sure.
