And what size do you (Goldilocks) find to be just right, out of curiosity?  Are we there yet?

I also prefer the current focus, as EclipseWorld has more of a end user focus.  Both are good, imo.  Too bad they’re held each year on opposing coasts <insert bad RAP war joke here/>.

Thanks,
Rich

FWIW, I have always viewed this specific topic as the existential question for EclipseCon.

It’s a fine line to walk. I think many people (including myself) would be interested in seeing more users at EclipseCon. But if you push too far along that particular dimension you get JavaOne…which is not my personal vision for EclipseCon (not that my vision is even remotely the only one that matters).

My desire has always been to grow EclipseCon to be the Goldilocks of conferences: not too big, not too small, but just right

Things we still need to work on:
- User focus versus ISV focus. The traditional debate in Eclipse carries on into EclipseCon. I ran into very few CDT users but a ton of ISVs leveraging CDT. Good/Bad? Not sure.
