Below is the summary of today's meeting.

Florian and GianMaria brainstormed about the possibility of re-using some parts of Karaf in Virgo, for example:

• the features/kar support (and related maven plugin)
  
• as an alternative to the above just the support for Maven URLs from Pax URL Mvn in Virgo's plan URI field

Florian commented that the low-level integration between Virgo quasi resolver and Equinox is what makes upgrading Equinox so difficult. That low level integration is what gives to Virgo the possibility to have plans which are atomic and scoped. It would be interesting to understand how many people rely on atomicity and scope for plans/pars to understand if it may be possible to drop them in future Virgo releases to make the evolution of Virgo easier.
