Fair enough.

Personally, I would argue that Platform removing it and Tycho no longer
supporting old Platforms still using it are two different things, however:

The former is modernizing the Platform itself (yeah! I'm all for it),
while the latter is about an attempt to still support older Platform in
Tycho with not much code (a single tryActivateBundle line [3]).

That being said, I have a workaround, namely auto-starting the bundle
myself in the tycho-surefire-plugin configuration, so I won't push this.
