Re: [sumo-user] Queue in MESO GUI

'queue' corresponds to lane index in the microsim (most edge segments works like a single queue by default, but if you use --meso-lane-queue then each segment has as many queues as it has lanes). The value does not correspond to the number of queued vehicles.

Dear all,

I was trying to analyze queue length in mesoscopic simulation with the
a recent nightly build (Version v1_21_0+0603-0949a42256f). I can get
"ueue in FCD-output, but I am not sure if the value is reported
correctly. Here is a screenshot of a scenario. The selected car is
traveling with free-flow speed but in GUI it says it is in queue index
2. Maybe the definition behind queue is a bit unclear to me. The edge
output also shows that this edge has 3 queue segments but there are
only 2-3 cars on that edge. Not sure how these variables are defined.
I would very much appreciate any clarifications.

Best,
Sasan
