Thank you Qichao and Jakob. I think the issue was that I selected the edges before editing the parameters, when I did the opposite, it actually worked.
I was actually able to load the data into the simulation and it did work since I can see more volume in the areas I specified. I did have a number of things that I need some clarification with. I noticed that some of the vehicles conduct u-turns at areas that they shouldn't. Here's an example (the red would be the route the vehicle would actually take in reality if it were to attempt to turn around in this location):
Is there a way to manually remove U-Turns for certain junctions in the simulation area?
My second question was to do with the time interval that the vehicles are generated. I would like to simulate a 24 hour traffic entry and exit of the road section, which is actually quite long. I noticed that many of the vehicles are generated very quickly, so it's causing jams that are too congested in sections of the road. I was wondering what the seconds in the simulation counter represent, is it 1 minute real time = 1 second when the ms delay = 0?
