[sumo-user] Get higher resolution in simulation and in screenshots

Hi,

I simulate my traffic with vehicles as 'simple shapes'. My network is 
about 300m x 300m large. Can I somehow get a higher resolution in the 
simulation and when taking screenshots of that simulation (via traci)? I 
have a screenshot attached so you can see how it is now. I would like to 
get a better resolution of that.
Also, when I put a background (a google maps image of the network) via 
the background tab in the view settings, the sumo-gui reduces the 
resolution of that image quite a bit. Can I somehow prevent that from 
happening?
