Re: AW: [jwt-dev] Re: [stp-dev] Interesting conversation on the JWT list

Hi Florian,
I absolutely agree with having some guidelines for naming attributes
and properties. These rules will emerge on the go but this is
something we will have in mind and the work on transformations will be
the source of this. Talk to you on Monday!
Adrian.

Hi Adrian,
thanks for this wiki page. Especially the discussions the last days
were
very highlighting, therefore I added a reference to the wiki page.
We (from the JWT project) will have a telco next Monday where we will
discuss how to proceed with the first transformations between STP IM
and
JWT.
Personally, I agree and am happy with the generality of the STP IM,
but I
also see (like Marc and Fabrice) the need for some guidelines that
describe
how several properties (or even observable attributes) should be
named in
order to enable reuse of already existing code generations or model
transformations. Maybe it is possible to define some rules these
properties
must stick to!? But we will discover that while implementing the first
transformations, I guess.
Best regards,
Florian

Hi STP and JWT guys,
I have created a wiki page to summarise our recent discussions, it's
not a
full account of what has been discussed but I believe it covers the
main
points. Please feel free to update to page, I also intend to do some
more
work on it as we go along with this collaboration.

There has been some conversation on the JWT list regarding the
similarities between the STP intermediate model and some of the
similar work that is ongoing in JWT - here's the first message in the

It would be a good thing to have a little web or wiki page
summarizing
this conversation so that we can keep a record - what do you think
Adrian (Mos)? ;)
cheers
