Finally, I've posted a number of pages on the WVCM web about accessing
resources and terminology.
Yesterday I spend some time browsing the Wiki. It has lots of
interesting stuff reflecting the project's progress for the past two
years. Unfortunately it was rather hard for me to grasp at the
chronology and tell wether a piece of intformation is up to date or not.
I am aware that certain pieces of the documentation/design/code were
dropped or are planned to be dropped/replaced in the future, but I'm not
sure which ones.
I think it would be really beneficial to future readers if someone of
the team went over the pages and notices on top of the pages that
describe abandoned/replaced ideas. I know it takes precious time, you
would probably rather spend writing code - I would if it was me :-)
Still, I think it's necessary in the long run.
I really appreciate the page on WVCM terminology. It's really not
obvious at the first sight. I think it would be great to create a page
that describes how WVCM/Stellation terminology maps to CVS terminology,
as most people will be migrating from this direction. Another option is
making a table with side-by-side comparison of multiple SCM systems
terminologies.
