Ian sent feedback for
Analyst briefing, and Ricco going to respond with info by week end o
Confirm is Ian is
going to draft press release or if the IWG is blocking progress (?) -
Appears that SOA Package
will be part of SR 1 builds this week – initial testing was
successful. Have not had a final confirmation from EPP that everything is
in place, but the SOA-IWG believes it is. -

Getting Started –
Webinar for getting started -> Available early next week. Oliver is
recording it this Friday. May need some text for a getting started, but
will start with video and add as needed. o
SOA – IWG –
Forum -> Will hold off having a forum created for now and encourage mailing
list use instead. Forum will be added if we get sufficient number of
technical conversations taking place via email. o

test from the EPP Project Zsolt has an icon should be able to have a package
for the SR1. Thanks Ian, Zsolt and Markus for the support! -

they are unable to provide resources to the IWG or the related Eclipse SOA
projects at the point and will look again at this again in 6-8 months time. -

Commitments to the
road map – feedback has all been expressed to the mailing list. 0.5
version to be sent tomorrow to the group, but this feels complete by the
current participants. -
Package Update
– Zsolt has opened a bug to get feedback on the package and updated
mailing list. Feedback has been light, but feeling is a general consensus
has been reached. Zsolt to re-ping group for any final feedback. -

concerns from the foundation that we’re behind on the promo
materials. Ricco expressed agreement and that we’ll try to
double-up our efforts to try to catch up. -
