Re: [science-iwg] Committer representation on the Steering Committee

+1

Except a few representatives of Oracle or IBM, other members in the Steering Committee of LocationTech http://www.locationtech.org/steeringcommittee seem to represent the Academic/SME sector, too, so in Eclipse terms are likely to be Individual Committers, right? Especially at OCG which through JSRs 275-363 I have been in close relation to, there are significantly more Academic or Research members than individuals or those employed by governments or large companies.

It is likely similar here.

Beside my aim to be Participating Member in the Science WG, depending on how many Individual Committers are planned here, I'd also be happy to join the Steering Committee.

Regards,
Werner
