[platform-ui-dev] "Open File..." workflow discussion

Hi guys,

As I'm currently in an "ops-like" mode, opening files here in Eclipse IDE and there without a real project mindset nor focus, I found the Eclipse IDE is not exposing enough of its power for that usage and realised I've developed some personal workflows that are not optimal and require me to move or copy files. I think this could be easily improved in the Eclipse IDE and I submitted another approach to just "Open File..." in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=538713 .
