Re: [paho-dev] MQTT debugging tool?
|
No, the broker logs only showed some incoming connection...and that's all. I tired HiveMQ and some other (don't remember the name) but it looks Mosquitto could be the tool I'm looking for.
Nothing come to mind, apart from turning up the logging level of your MQTT broker. Alternatively, you can always use WireShark which has a good MQTT packet view.
Kind regards,

Looking at the broker logs doesn't help discover the issue? Which broker did you user?
Andrea
Hi,
I'm implementing a MQTT-interface to an embedded device and still have problems with it. Since the different MQTT-brokers do not give enough information on illegal/wrong/failed/whatever incoming connections, my question:
is there some kind of MQTT-debugging tool, means a software which behaves like a MQTT-broker but gives extensive logging and error information on all incoming client connections so that one can find the reason for non-working MQTT clients?
Thanks!
Mike
