Re: [paho-dev] Paho 1.0 Release Review Documentation

Hi Ian
just back from hols. Release review doc looks great.  If you need another MQTT presentation from EclipseCon then "From Rates to Cows and Hearts to Homes, M2M stories and architecture pattens"  was all about MQTT :-)

All the best
Dave

Thanks Andy.  I did find your comment eventually.  We'll find out whether that comment field is intended for our use or not very soon, as I've now submitted the release documentation to the technology PMC for approval :-)

If you click on "Release Review" you get to a page where comments can be added. I'm not sure whether that is the intended way for us to comment, perhaps that is only intended for the official review.

Either way, I just made a minor comment about the widespread use of the Python client since it also had a long history in mosquitto before coming into Paho.

Absolutely agree that we are at Eclipse Quality :-)

Sorry Andy, I can't see your comment.  I don't know whether our edits crossed.  Can you point it out to me? Thanks

Ian

P.S.  Note that I checked the box to agree that "The project leadership certifies that the APIs in this release are "Eclipse Quality"!  I assume you agree :-)

Added a comment on the site. It looks like a really strong review doc AFAICT.

Hi All,

I submitted the 1.0 IPLog on the weekend.  Now we have to submit the 1.0 release review doc asap.

I have drafted the information here:
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/technology.paho/releases/1.0.0

Please review and make any comments, preferably today, so I can submit cob today or first thing tomorrow.  Thanks!
