Thank you John for posting this message! I had a similar thought. I have put an update on where we are in MicroProfile 4.0 here. We have done all of the technical work. The only remaining bit is the ballot. We still need Tomitribe and AJUG to vote the following specs: JWT 1.2
Open API 2.0
Open Tracing 2.0 Rest Client 2.0
Amelia and John, since you are around today, will you be able to reach out to help pushing this forward. If we can conclude the ballot, we are able to release MP 4.0 in 2020.
The other little task is to conclude Fault Tolerance ballot as every member has voted and 7 days passed. If David can't get to it today, I'll conclude that ballot on Monday and release Fault Tolerance 3.0 then.

We have the OK from Wayne for all of the component specifications assuming they all pass ballot. This means that we can release MicroProfile 4.0 this calendar year. Are there any objections to doing a final MP 4.0 build this calendar year once all of the ballots have passed and the artifacts have been moved out of staging into prod?
