Re: [jta-dev] Intending to create a 2.0.1-RC1

I am going to pick back up on this tomorrow (for me), the https://ci.eclipse.org/jta/view/Enabled/job/TCK_edit-glassfish/ job is not passing parameters to https://ci.eclipse.org/jta/view/Enabled/job/TCK_run_pipeline/ correctly and I have made and will make further changes to the job.

(Also listing repos in https://ci.eclipse.org/jta/view/Enabled/job/NexusStaging-list,close,drop,release/ is not working but it might be possible that won't be necessary to have).

I had a bit of trouble with CI jobs but things are good now and I am proceeding to make the 2.0.1-RC1

Given we have the changes complete, I intend to move forward with the 2.0.1-RC1 release. I would like to see that https://ci.eclipse.org/jta/view/Enabled/job/TCK_build-glassfish/7/ passes and that we then have a passed build of https://ci.eclipse.org/jta/view/Enabled/job/TCK_run_pipeline/ first.

There is some background to the change in https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jta-api/issues/186

I have updated https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jta-api/pull/202 and hopefully that will pass CI at least.

I'm not really sure why grgrgrzybak added the 1.2 and 1.3 exports here:

It seems very wrong, but I'm not sure what the line of thinking was.

jakarta.transaction-api doesn't seem to have changed from Jakarta EE 9. That said, I have a PR that I hope can work: https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jta-api/pull/202

I have had a look inside a recent built version, I am wondering if it is this `Bundle-SymbolicName` which is jakarta.transaction-api that might be the difference?:

Thank you, Arjan. I wonder if the OSGi information in the transaction jar isn't identifying itself as jakarta.transaction. I will take a look at that.

If you pretty print the OSGi/Felix output it's a bit easier to see:

This by itself looks somewhat strange, since 2.0.1 is obviously in that range. Might rather be that it's not found at all.

Kind regards,
