[incubation] "Masquerade as project lead" question

Hi,

I noticed on my Eclipse foundation portal page, I have an entry similar to this:

"Masquerade as project lead for:" and then it lists an Eclipse project with a button action for [become].

What exactly does this action do? Not sure if I should be clicking this or just leaving it alone for now...
