Subject: Re: [hono-dev] First shot at implementing Telemetry API endpoint
We can use multiple services. For me personally irc is the easiest, as I'm already using it for a lot of other projects. For everything else, I'd need to remember to login on a daily basis.
Also, I think a lot of open source users are used to join irc channels and chat with devs. Anyhow, I'll be hanging in #hono room and try to join any other chat service we agree to use.

I haven't used Gitter so far. What benefit does the integration with GitHub provide (apart from using GitHub as an OAuth provider)?
Another alternative would be a Gitter Chatroom, where we all have an account already.
+1 for a chat, no preference whether it's freenode or matterhorn server.
No, I haven't and you are more than welcome to update the docs to reflect the new code, Dejan :-) I would really appreciate it because I haven't had much time
this week so far to work on Hono because of meetings and my involvement with Californium ...
BTW I will spend the whole next week with Dominik on a "hackathon" for Hono :-) We want to try to get the Telemetry direction up and running based on the Dispatch
Router and provide a Docker compose based demo config. We'll keep you posted!!
I haven't used freenode yet but I think using a chat tool would be very helpful. We could also use Eclipse's Matterhorn server which we have already used for the
Hono logo discussions as well. Freenode, however, seems to be simpler to use since it doesn't require registration ...

Hi Kai,
the example docs is still using the old code (dispatcher, etc.). Do you have an update prepared yet? I'm playing with the new code and can tidy this all up and document in the process. Just wanted to check if you
already have something in progress?
BTW. What do you guys think of using irc, maybe #hono channel at freenode?
