Hello,
My regrets that I cannot attend, as I believe this is a worthwhile project. That said; I presume that the meeting attendees will ensure that "a scribe" records detailed notes (and some white board photos perhaps) for those us who cannot attend.
Also, I am curious if Hono will need to model (or be aware of) the deployments and manage the lifecycle of "things, e.g., their relationships, containment, requirements such as network/compute/storage, and dependencies? FYI, there is an OASIS standard that is finding traction on cloud platforms and for software defined networks / network function virtualization called TOSCA (1). Supporting open source includes OpenStack (multiple core projects such as Heat, Tacker, Senlin), and many other projects such as Aria, alien4cloud, I think OPNFV, etc.
Some folks I have talked to have wondered if there is application to IoT. Hono comes to mind. Disclaimer: I am a Co-Chair of the OASIS TOSCA Technical Committee.
