Not all data would need to flow through a context provider as some cards
may already have the data (like "personal" cards, so there should be
another path.

I've been playing around with the TokenService and notice that it
uses a second directory configuration besides the context providers.
Is this permanent? I would think that all data should flow through
the context providers (as I see they support the
add/modify/delete/rename operations).
