ok, i see, so "officially" it is glite 3.1, ie, you used the glite3.1 
repository for the packages and you have the latest versions of the 
packages installed, right?

Well, then it _should_ work.... 

Could you please tell us/Pawel which exact versions you have? Something 
like 
   rpm -qa | grep -iE "glite-wms|glite-lb|glite-security" | sort
