BTW In the past we used to only publish the release in the evening Ottawa time because that led to the best mirror behaviour. If we published early the mirrors were very slow to fill up and it caused these problems. I also used to delay sending out the email until hours after the mirrors were "primed" to avoid this temporary state of no good mirrors.

The fact that a mirror is being misreported is a different issue, and that is what I raised https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/issues/7000 for.
