for problems / proposals regarding planned gerrit / bugzilla obsolescence, please also consider to raise your hands and comment in this document:

I'm must be a very seldom example of a happy gerrit/bugzilla user, but I'm not involved into gerrit internals and may miss something obvious for you.
I guess you probably can add more valuable input about possible pitfalls / needed work etc during transition, even if the document is for Eclipse platform in general.
