Re: [egit-dev] EGit / JGit - git-blame support 
Matthias,

You can make this requirement explicit in pom.xml by adding

  <prerequisites>
    <maven>3.0</maven>
  </prerequisites>

as a child of <project> element.

    Matthias there is nothing missing the Contributor guide, but when i try
    to execute the following command "mvn -f
    org.eclipse.jgit.packaging/pom.xml clean install"

    i get the following error.This is why i am asking for more details.I
    probably missed on my previous mail.

$ mvn --version
to check which maven version you are using, you need at least 3.0
