I can access without problem EclipseLink Subversion repository.

What are the workarounds? Can we stick to just one version of source
control? All CVS or all Subversion?
When using the built-in 'Team' feature of Eclipse - with HTTP proxy settings - I can access the Orbit CVS repository, even though from a command-line or via TortoiseCVS (WinXP) I can't get thru our firewall. Somehow, the built-in Eclipse CVS client knows how to tunnel transparently thru HTTP.
