We've already posted emails to the committers list (and we should redo that with the extended deadline) so I don't think that a systematic mail to each ML projects would be very productive. I think we should target some specific projects that we want to hear from.
Honestly I was thinking about something
more systematic like sending an email to each ML at the Eclipse
Foundation.
Sending a couple of emails here and there won't cut it.

Good idea. Do you volunteer to send a mail to some projects? Please list the project you plan to contact so there is no overlap.
I will send a mail to the Tycho and the Hudson project ML.
