1. +1 to SWT bleeding edge talk over flatland
2. First, I agree we want Alex speaking and should try to find a way.  I'm just not in favor of replacing this one particular talk. Accessibility is an important topic for RCP developers and not as specialized as you think. At least on my team it's a general skill (like i18n and l10n) and very useful as a lens when looking at user experience.
3. If we really do have too many modeling talks perhaps we might consider substituting Alex's talk.

I’d like to propose some changes:

1.      SWT Talk. I propose we drop Welcome to the flatland and replace it with How to keep Eclipse on the bleeding edge in the Linux world   The flatland talks seems to be an experiment/prototype but the Bleeding Edge talk is from the SWT lead.  FWIW, the speaker of the flatland talk will be a talk in the CDT Day.
2.      Jubula talk. I propose we drop Removing Accessibility Obstacles in Your RCP/SWT Application and replace it with Jekyll and Hyde with Jubula   Accessibility is an important topic but it is pretty specialized. I also think having Alex speak at EclipseCon is a good idea. She is consistently rated as a popular speaker.
3.      Too many Modeling talks. My feeling is if you combine the Modeling track and Polarsys Day we have too many Modeling talks. I count at least 3 of the Polarsys talks that could have easily fit into the Modeling track. I would suggest we drop Get dirty with CDO or Building Business UIs with EMF Forms.  For replacement, I would suggest we add a BIRT talk. WE don’t have any BIRT content right now. Writing an Emitter to Unit Test BIRT Reports for CI, or How Not To Shoot Yourself in the Foot with Embedded BIRT Deployments.  Or the Cordova talk Building Apache Cordova applications with Eclipse
