I do have some news from the BEA-IBM
meeting last week. Unfortunately, a solution to the basic problem was not
reached: both BEA and IBM are very willing to contribute translation work, but
neither is going to lead the project.
Pat Huff of IBM is giving a presentation
on translation at EclipseCon, and is going to set up a meeting there. The hope
is to find a volunteer there to lead the project as well as additional
contributors.
To anyone who is interesting in
contributing to a translation project please email me and I will make sure to
send on information about when and where the meeting(s) are going to take
place.
