[eclipse.org-eclipsecon-program-committee] Java Submissions

That's the summary of the Java track submission with some explanations

----
Long Talks (4 slots: 3 allocated - 1 open):
Accepted:
  42 - API Tooling - Olivier Thomann/Darin Wright/Michael Rennie, IBM
  132 - Java Annotations - Walter Harley/Jess Garms, BEA
  442 - JUnit - Either
David Saff, MIT on 'JUnit 4.5 Theories'
         or
David Saff/Erich Gamma/Kent Beck on '10 Years JUnit' (depends if Kent Beck will attend EclipseCon (he's looking for a sponsor...))
  1 slot open

Declined:
352 - Object Team development tooling, Stephan Herrmann, TU Berlin: According to me research on the topic I don't think there's a bigger audience interest here.
357 - Lessons learned about delivering functional software on time: Sriram Narayanan, Thoughtworks. Not Java specific nor is it clear how it is related to Eclipse.
242 - Java2Script Inside: A Java to _javascript_ Compiler, Zhou Renjian: Better covered in 245 (web tooling)
443 - JIVE, advanced debugging, Jeffrey Czyz, University at Buffalo: This is a interesting research project but from what I've tried, it doesn't seem to be stable enough. I think it's better to do this a short talk

---
