Here is a summary of the Emerging Technologies submissions and
tentative decisions:

Tutorials:
  - Developing Python IDE on DLTK (Andrey Platov)

  - Where's the Data? A Device Kit Tutorial (Patrick Dempsey) -
this is a borderline plus for me, so we should probably discuss it on
Friday's call

  - The Whole Platform: a Language Workbench for Eclipse
(Riccardo Solmi) - again, a borderline plus. In fact, I'd rather
have this be a long talk at most because this is new material, never
seen at EclipseCon before, so I don't imagine that there will be a big
demand for a tutorial on the topic. Plus it seems to be borderline
product advertisement. However, I have no long talk slots left -
perhaps someone would like to trade tutorial slots for long slots?

Long Talks:
  - From Europa to Ganymede: Eclipse Packaging and Ganymatic (Markus
Knauer) - there are a lot of packaging/distro related submissions
this year, we need to make sure that we don't overly accept on them

  - Using ECF for Lightweight Distributed Team Collaboration
(Scott Lewis)

  - The Next Wave of IDE Innovation: Eclipse and Visual Studio
(Tim Wagner)

  - Building on Eclipse in interesting ways while still...
(Kimberley Peter)

  - Identity Management, Authorization and User Profiles (Mary
Ruddy)  - I have asked Mary if she would be willing to turn it into
a tutorial, in which case I will swap it with "The Whole Platform"

  - Eclipse Command Language - next step in Eclipse Scripting
(Andrey Platov)

Omberdanne) - Android = buzz

Kornmayer)
