All,

 

Please review the attached slides from Borland. Note that this foilset was presented at EclipseWorld in NYC last month. I personally like the topic and think it is humorous too!

 

One obvious concern is newness of keynote content. I would like to see a new presentation and not just a recap of previous talk.

 

What do you guys think? If you have any topics in mind, let us know as well.

Attached are slides from Pat Kerpan’s recent keynote at EclipseWorld.  We’re very flexible on this.  We can evolve on that theme, or touch on any other themes that you’d like to hear about.  I look forward to hearing from you after you meet with the committee.

This is excellent news!

 

I’m afraid Pat has a conflict in his schedule and isn’t able to participate, however we’d really like to have another senior executive take his place.  Boz Elloy, Senior VP of Software Products who leads R&D and product strategy for Borland is available.  I can provide a topic and abstract shortly.  Please let me know if this substitution would work.

I am communicating on behalf of the EclipseCon 2006 program committee. The program committee is very much interested in inviting Patrick Kerpan from Borland to deliver a keynote address. Did Patrick already pick a topic or he has a short list of topics? We would like to hear the topic(s) and abstract(s). Hi Christy. Apologies for the delay in replying – I was on vacation for most of August, and then had EclipseWorld to deal with.

 

Sri is the sub-chair for the developer track of the program committee, and is leading the search for keynotes in the tooling arena. He can assist in providing information and coordinating with the program committee.

In looking at last years agenda, I noticed that there were three keynotes at the show.  Borland is interested in submitting an abstract for a keynote presentation, and wanted to get all of the details on submitting sooner, rather than later.  How are companies/individuals chosen to present a keynote?
