[eclipse.org-architecture-council] Fwd: [eclipse.org-committers] EMO Committer Office Hours - Tomorrow Sept 10th 14.30 UTC

Hey ETAC!

Some of you had questions about Project Glasswing and Mythos; Mikael will present on these topics during this call. This should be an interesting call.

While I have your attention... I realise I dumped my notes from our August meeting onto the wiki, but neglected to inform you of the update. I apologize for the delay.

Please let me know if you have any topics for our September 24th meeting.

Wayne

Hello Committers,

You’re invited to join us tomorrow for our EMO Office Hours!

📅 Date: September 10
🕝 Time: 14:30 UTC
🔗 Zoom: https://eclipse.zoom.us/j/84638945339

We’ll have two great speakers joining us:

  • Mikaël Barbero, Head of Security, will share the latest updates on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and what comes next for AI-assisted vulnerability scanning. With the first CRA reporting deadline now here, what should the open source community expect next? And how can AI help identify vulnerabilities in your code? Mikaël will also give us a look at what the Eclipse Foundation Security Team is working on to support our projects.
  • Wayne Beaton, Head of Open Source Projects, will walk us through the journey of an Eclipse Foundation project, from incubation to graduation. What does graduation actually mean, and what does it take for a project to get there? Wayne will explain the process and the key milestones along the way.

It promises to be an informative and engaging session, with plenty of opportunity to learn, ask questions, and hear directly from our experts.

We hope to see you there!
