Yes I did use p2 and pointed to this location http://download.eclipse.org/rt/ecf/3.2/3.6/site.p2 which is listed here http://www.eclipse.org/ecf/downloads.php 

I installed two items, the ones not saying patch for 3.5

I installed the ECF SDK into Helios M7 from xxx and after that my Helios would not start any more in windows 7. Only if I run it as administrator it runs. If i run it normally it silently exits without any error messages or logs in the .configuration dir.
