Note:  ECF committers *PLEASE* take the time to download/install 
Marcelo's user search API patch to this bug:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=259531

Marcelo needs feedback on the API in particular...but the existing XMPP 
UI should also be examined/commented on.  So please take a look, run it, 
and put comments on the bug about the API and/or the UI.  This needs to 
be done soon, so that Marcelo can release the code to HEAD and it can 
get into ECF 3.0M5.
