Importance: High
Hi all,
Here is an update on my action item:
Martin: Distribute notes on
embedded/mobile package and start a wiki to track ideas.
I created a Wiki page, http://wiki.eclipse.org/DSDP/Package
for the packaging
effort. But I thought I'd not announce it to
a broader
community before my vacation. I'll wait till after
my vacation,
perhaps short before Ganymede, such that I'll
be available to
answer any questions / comments.
In the meantime,
I'm asking the PMC to comment. A DSDP
Packaging Effort
can have BIG impact on all us DSDP
projects. Do you
folks want to get involved? There's good
arguments for
getting involved. Do you have any ideas or
suggestions? -
Just E-Mail here on the pmc list or add
the ideas to the
Wiki directly.
Is the Wiki too
loaded and complex for general consumption?
It should be an easy, compelling read that prompts people
to comment or
participate.
Thanks,

Hi Doug,
I could meet tomorrow, but will be on vacation from Jun 10 till Jun
21,
so I'm not sure if I could come to a later meeting.
I haven't yet worked on the DSDP Packaging thing since I'm deeply
buried in Ganymede work, but I thought I could write something up
quickly and blog it, in order to get that action item done.
Cheers,

Hi folks,
I didn’t see any responses on
this. So, quick role call: how many folks can (and want) to attend a meeting
tomorrow?

Hi folks,
I think I’d like to postpone our
PMC meeting this month, given how busy some of the projects are on Ganymede.
If folks still want to meet and
discuss items, I’m happy to hold the meeting at the scheduled time with
whomever can attend. We can just make it an open forum. Thoughts?
I would like to get an update on
the action items below. Here’s my update.
Doug: write-up some instructions for using Eclipse PDT
for website maintenance.
First version done (see PMC page). I will update it as I
learn more. Feel free to do the same.
Doug: talk to Bjorn about NAB 1.0 and then meet with
Shigeki.
Done. I met with Bjorn and he had some suggestions for
making the case to the EMO. I’m now working with Shigeki on content.
Can others provide their
updates?
