[capella-adopters] COMAC authorize Capella project team to display COMAC

Eclipse Foundation,

COMAC is using Capella in civil aircraft development and benefits a lot from ARCADIA/Capella and its ecosystem (e.g. OBEO and ALL4TEC). 

Since Visual identification system (VI) is important to the brand spirit and cultural concept of COMAC, we hope Eclipse Foundation should use the LOGO of COMAC in a standardized way. ATTACHMENT 1 is recommended to use in priority.

Eclipse Foundation is supposed to understand the VI application requirements specified in ATTACHMENT 2 (ATTACHMENT 3 is the machine translation).Sincerely thanks for your support and take good care of COMAC brand. 

Finally, "I authorize Capella project team to display COMAC's logo on the Capella Adopters page (https://eclipse.org/capella/adopters.html)"

Hi Jack,

FYI, we have recently changed the Capella adopters referencing process. They are now listed and visible on the https://www.eclipse.org/capella/adopters.html page.


As the logos are now hosted on a page of the Eclipse foundation, we need to re-obtain an explicit permission, even for users already registered

(In your case this is actually pretty welcome since I've never received the formal reply from SADRI you mentioned in the mail below)

To do so, please follow the procedure described at the bottom of the web page, which is :

Please send an email from your professional email address to capella-adopters@xxxxxxxxxxx
with your logo and the following sentence:

"I authorize Capella project team to display [Company]'s logo
on the Capella Adopters page (https://eclipse.org/capella/adopters.html)"

Feel free to complete your message with a short description of your project.

That's a good question for this enterprise group, and YES after a sequence of requests for COMAC administratives, from SADRI to headquarter.

OBEO will get a formal reply from SADRI Supplier and Purchasement department for allowance later.

Hi Jack,


We are collecting authorizations from organizations to cite them as
Capella users for example during 1 to 1 presentations or conference. As
the tool is open it's not so easy to identify them.

Would it be OK for you to add the COMAC to this list?
